Deep-Dive Discovery
During a 1 hour intake call, we’ll take a deep dive into every aspect of your body and mind. We’ll discuss your medical history, the way you eat, your activity level, your mental health and any other stressors or concerns you may be experiencing.

Lab Work Analysis
Lab work helps us get a bigger picture of what is going on inside your body and is a great baseline to monitor the improvement of your health. I work with recent lab work you may have done or order new labs (paid out of pocket) directly or through the assistance of your primary care physician.

You’ll receive personalized food guidance based on your biology, including foods to include, foods to avoid, and key superfoods that support gut healing and overall health.

Functional Medicine Drop-In
The Functional Medicine session is a focused virtual session designed to address a specific health concern with clear, actionable next steps.
We review your symptoms, health history, and any relevant labs you already have to identify underlying contributors and connect patterns that may be driving your symptoms. You’ll leave with a practical path forward you can start right away.
This is a standalone session with no long-term commitment. Targeted lab testing may be recommended for deeper insight and can be ordered out of pocket when appropriate.

I worked with Sammie for ~4 years and in that time frame I went from burnt out, stressed -- and let's be honest -- chubby..to balanced, healthy and fit! Sammie isn't just about counting the nutrition facts in your diet - her approach is much more holistic, she gets to the root of why you are exhausted and reaching for a bag of chips. She helps you understand the mental and physical side of what is holding you back from wanting to be fully healthy. The weekly checkins are also super helpful because it trains you to spot when you are shifting into unhealthy habits AND it helps with accountability by helping you slowly work in micro-changes that have a big impact. One example is packing a lunch when I'd have a flight. I used to spend 100 nights a year in hotels, which meant ~200 flights a year. That is a lot of crappy airport food. Now I do meal prep, I know how to manage my week and guess what...I am 17% body fat and running the fastest mile pace I've ever done. Do I still get little running injuries that set me back and then I am bored and hit the chips? Yes, but these incidents are are fewer and further between and now I know what to do. I incorporate yoga, sauna, stretching, acupuncture etc. Turns out being healthy feels healthy and I have Sammie to thank!

What is functional medicine?
Functional medicine looks at the body as a whole but focuses on finding and healing the root cause of your symptoms instead of just treating them.
What does holistic mean?
Holistic medicine uses a comprehensive, full body approach to prompt overall wellness and health. We look at your biological state, emotional, and mental state, as well as environmental factors when assessing your health.
What happens after my first session?
After your first session, you’ll receive clear next steps based on what we discussed. This includes guidance on nutrition, lifestyle, and any recommended labs or resources so you can start implementing right away.
Are there any requirements to start working with Sammie?
Nope, just a willingness to follow your personalized protocol.
Do you ACCEPT insurance?
Unfortunately, no. However, I do my best to keep the program and any recommended integrations affordable based on your individual needs.
Do I have to get my bloodwork done in order to get my personal protocol?
No, but it’s highly recommended so I can see a fuller picture of what’s going on in your body. After our initial consultation, I will have recommendations for which labs would benefit you most.
Do I have to incorporate herbal supplements?
Maybe. Each person’s nutritional needs are different and that’s why bio-individuality is so important. I prioritize food first but some individuals may need supplemental support as well.
Are the costS of labs and supplements included in the initial fee?
No, but I do my best to provide affordable options for each person I work with while staying attentive to my client's needs.
When will I start to feel a difference in my health?
Each person is different, some individuals require more time to align their bodies and begin healing than others.
Will I lose weight?
While everybody is different, many people do experience weight loss while implementing the nutrition and holistic lifestyle changes recommended. If weight loss is a personal goal for you, that will be taken into account when creating your personal protocol.
Will I have direct access to Sammie?
Yes, I’m always here for questions and you can add additional coaching sessions with me if you’d like more in depth check-ins as you work through your personal protocol.
Do I have to cook all my meals or can I use a meal prep company/personal chef?
If cooking your own meals seems challenging, I can provide recipes in your personal protocol that are super simple. If you already use a personal chef, I can work with them directly or help you find the best meal prep options in your area.
